As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at svarmony, Carsten leads the sales, marketing, and partnership strategies for a company that offers the entire spectrum of immersive technology applications and services. With over 25 years of experience in the field of location-based services (LBS), marketing, and cloud, I have access to the latest trends and innovations in retail and ecommerce, which I share with the industry at events and as a senior consultant for digitalization. He is passionate about bringing trends and innovations together with users and providers, and creating unique and engaging brand experiences through augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) solutions. He also is the president of the Location Based Marketing Association (LBMA), a global network of over 1,300 of the world's biggest brands, retailers, and technology providers, where I foster a community of interest around all avenues of digitalization and communication as it relates to location-specific opportunities.
